My heart is heavy. We said goodbye to Randy Cornelius Peters this week. Word like husband, friend, mentor, brother, leader, musical genius, seem to be pale when trying to describe who Randy was. To me he was an inspiration, a teacher, a mentor, a brother, a surrogate dad, a best friend. We shared so much in music, in discussion and in silence. He was with me every step of the way with Fillmore, and he will continue to be at my side and in my heart with all my remaining days.
I miss you friend...
